How to Do the IELTS Writing Task 2?

As explained in the previous article, the IELTS test is divided into 2 types, IELTS General Training and IELTS Academic test. In the IELTS, test there are four skills that must be done, IELTS reading, writing, listening, and speaking. That is, all four skills will be tested on this test, including writing.
Before doing this test, understanding the tips and tricks for writing on writing task 2 on the IELTS Test will be very helpful. You have to analyze and understand the topic given in the test

IELTS Writing Task 2 – Before writing the contents/essay, it would be nice to analyze the topic given first, because if the topic and content are not appropriate or distorted, it will affect the final value.

You should try to answer fully all of the prompt parts
The answer according to the instructions or questions are given. Make sure your writing includes all the points in the question. Do not miss!

You are required to make a plan by spending the five minutes time given
Spend the first five minutes on planning your essay. In English, this process is called Planning. Make a few skeletons of writing that you want to discuss in writing.

Make a paraphrase in the introduction of the task by using the own language of yours, then explain your essay aiming at the statement of a thesis

IELTS Writing Task 2 – In the opening sentence, paraphrase the question and state the purpose of the essay making, such as the opening sentence in the thesis making. This paraphrasing process is a process where essay questions are rewritten using synonyms and changes in sentence structure but still have the same meaning.

You next write your own essay and share it into four paragraphs: introduction, body (2 paragraphs), and conclusion
This process can be adjusted to the type of questions faced such as examples of two opinions, problems and solutions, cause and effect, and other types of questions. Understand the question first to be able to write the appropriate number of paragraphs.

Use your good topic sentence to start your every paragraph
Start each paragraph with the main sentence. Each paragraph has core sentences that can be developed into supporting sentences along with examples. It is important to make the first sentence effective and can be developed.

You have to give your every argument an example and reason
Give reasons and examples for each of your arguments. To get 250 words, you need to learn to develop every idea and sentence you write. The development of this idea is to provide reasons and examples for each of your arguments,

Make a conclusion about your essay points

Summarize the points made in the essay at the conclusion. Each task 2 is written in the IELTS writing having a conclusion paragraph or closing. In this paragraph, you can write an outline or summary along with criticism of the suggestions needed.

Give your best solutions in your essays such as suggestion or recommendation
IELTS Writing Task 2 – Give some suggestions or ideas (for example, broader suggestions and implications) in conclusions. If you still remember the Inductive, Deductive and Mixed Paragraph system, then this won’t be a big problem for you.
